Missin' My Homies

They're seriously the BEST.

p.s. My sister is in Rwanda right now.

The Wahlquisters

A miracle happened: I made new friends.

Thank you:

Drew--for generously sharing your money with me;

Marcy--for the inspiration;

and Tyler--for understanding my culture.

Spring Sketching

It wasn't too long ago when I promised myself one page of sketching a day.

Well.

I failed most epically.

 p.s.

This is a beautiful portrait of Kevin Newton drawn by my talented left hand.

He has eyes on his chin.

In real life.

Happy Father's Day!

My dad has this thing about putting green peppers in almost anything and everything he cooks.

Sometimes we protest: "Dad, you're putting green peppers in that!?"

I love my dad's cooking.

Happy Father's Day!

Did I Feel Your Eyes Today?

I wanted to learn/practice animating using Photoshop.

It's not much, but it was a big step forward for me. :)

Summer Sparkle

It's true, it really does.

Broski Pride

My brother is a humongous band dork and he recently became one of the 1st trumpeters! :)

I'm so proud of him so I made this little gif for him.

This was my first time making something like this, and I followed the instructions of amazing Anthony Holden.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! :)

My mom used to do my hair like Sailor Moon because she was my hero.

And every time she did my hair, she'd say, "You're a girl. You should at least take a shower once a week..."

Another Semester Gone

I really need to draw more.

2D Special Effects

This past semester I took 2D special effects class. We studied fire, liquid, vapor and explosion.

It was a lot of fun, but really challenging as well.
