Among few other things, cute birds are my sister's favorite things. I'd been wanting to get her some bird-related stuff for awhile now, and I'd been brainstorming off and on the past few months.

Here's an ink drawing I did for Inktober back in October:

Here's a watercolor painting I did in November:

And here's the illustration I did last week for her Christmas present:
It's going to be on a mug, because she loves mugs as well :)

These are just preview pictures from the website I used:

I don't know why the illustration on the preview isn't as saturated, but I guess we'll see how it actually looks when it gets here.

Custom Family Portraits

I had the opportunity to do some custom family portraits this past month, and it's been a blast!

This family lives in England, and the father's sister hired me to do their portrait. She wanted me to use the England flag's colors (red, blue, and white) and put couple landmarks in the background.

Here's another family!
(These two families are actually related)

(...I'm not good at drawing dogs)

I'm really thankful for those that have trusted me to do these for them and everyone who support and encourage me despite my imperfections and lack of skill. It's been so flattering and humbling to be able to earn money doing art! I love it. :)

The Thompsons Christmas Card

As always, I was so flattered when my friend asked if I could do an illustration for her family Christmas card. They have a super cute daughter and a dog as well. It was fun trying to capture all the love that is in that family :)

WIP images:

And she also wanted a non-Christmas one to hang in their house:

Fun fact:
I had to edit my usual signature because not everyone enjoys poop-related things as I do.

A Family Christmas Card

I got to work on a family Christmas card and it was so much fun!
I love that doing commissions (compared to just doing something on my own) helps me to push myself to go where I wasn't planning on/couldn't have gone by myself.

Here are some WIP images:

"Merry Christmas!" was put above the hollies.)
